Pastor Nancy B. Jones and her husband, Elder Fred E. Jones, Sr., organized the City of Refuge Triumphant
Pentecostal Church in March 2000. With a lot of hard work, the two renovated an old run down building. With the help of
the Lord, the edifice was beautified. They later outgrew the facilities and moved to another building. Once again the task
of remodeling was set before them. Today their new edifice is bigger, better and more conducive to worship. The City of Refuge
is under the direction of the Triumphant Pentecostal Churches, Inc. where the presiding Bishop is Tony Carter
from Mt. Airy, North Carolina. The West Virginia District is headed by Bishop Bob Tunstalle, Beckley,
WV. Today she also service as National Church Mother for the United Kingdom Changers Fellowship of Covenant Churches under
the leadership of her son Bishop-Elect Fred E. Jones Jr.
